Quick Review

The Celtic's defence were called into service early on to block a Totti free-kick after Jackie McNamara had fouled Marco Delvecchio. Totti then capitalised on a mistake by Stilian Petrov in the 14th minute but Marshall did well to turn his powerful left-foot shot around the post.
But the Italians were growing stronger and it was no surprise when they took the lead through Totti. A moment of hesitation by Stanislav Varga allowed Gaetano d'Agostino to chip the ball to the back post where Totti arrived to head over Marshall.
Celtic came back at the Italians and Chris Sutton headed over from Aiden McGeady's cross while Bobo Balde fired wide from just four yards after Hartson had headed against the post, late in the half.
O'Neill made three changes on the hour including Craig Beattie, who had scored four goals in three games in North America. The in-form youngster was in the right place in the 75th minute after Momo Sylla had knocked down McGeady's cross but he could not get a shot away on goal.
Pearson then missed a sitter in the final minute.
