Good level of energy today that's been lacking. Scott Brown seemed to finally give himself a boot in the arse, although he gave the ball away cheaply that led to their goal. Lustik much better today and great work between him and McGregor for the first goal. Erik and Efe were solid, Tierney another great game, and Craig Gordon was very sharp and decisive today. And I'm finally starting to see a player in Kazim-Richards (if he could just improve the accuracy of his passes at times); well taken goal he scored. Roberts and Griffiths must have been a nightmare to the Hearts defence. Bitton had his best game in a long while, and Rogic always looked dangerous after coming on. That Alan Muir is an awful referee and managed to piss both teams off, but especially Celtic. There was nothing wrong with McGregor's goal, and he booked Richards and Griffiths for having the audacity to withdraw their legs from a tangle.
Loved the celebrations. There's no visible discord on this club.

(Gerinaho of KDS)
Special mention for calum mcgregor yesterday. First start in a wee while but was razor sharp, worked his arse off and most importantly was always looking for the ball, making runs all over the place just to create some space and give angles for teammates. Really was great to see. Always plays with his head up and uses the ball well (his set up play for first goal was good, timing and weight of pass whilst knowing lustig was on the overlap). I also noticed yeterday how vocal he is on the pitch and how he was trying to lift other players when we went into our 2nd half lull. The wee man isnt the most fashionable player but he'd be in my team every week in centre mid.

Forward role at full time was mince right enough.

Hearts 1 – 3 Celtic: Jambos can’t halt Hoops’ title charge

Celtic: Kazim-Richards (17’), Roberts (66’), Griffiths (85’)
Hearts: Dauda (57’)

CELTIC celebrated at Tynecastle after a 3-1 win over Hearts effectively secured their fifth successive Premiership title. Patrick Roberts and Leigh Griffiths scored in the second half after Abiola Dauda’s solo effort had cancelled out Colin Kazim-Richards’ first league goal in Scotland.
The result means Aberdeen can only draw level with Celtic on points at the top of the table, but the Glasgow club carry a vastly superior goal difference. Hearts, having played within themselves in the first half, struck a deserved equaliser after the interval but then gifted Celtic three points with some erratic defending.

Hearts entered this fixture without a win in their last 14 meetings with Celtic, dating back to the 2012 Scottish Cup final. They were without Igor Rossi due to a knock, whilst Callum Paterson was left on the substitutes’ bench. Juwon Oshaniwa, red carded at Parkhead four weeks ago, played from the start in a left wing-back role.
Celtic’s 4-3-3 formation showed plenty attacking intent and they had the ball in the net on 12 minutes. Callum McGregor followed up when Hearts goalkeeper Neil Alexander parried Roberts’ shot, however the midfielder was judged offside. Television replays proved that was the wrong decision. Seconds later, Alexander produced a vital double save to stop efforts from Roberts and Griffiths.
The sense that Celtic were increasing the tempo was confirmed when they moved ahead on 17 minutes. Mikael Lustig charged forward on the right to take a pass from McGregor. With Oshaniwa posted missing, the Swede had time to hang a cross up at the back post. Kazim-Richards showed fine composure to chest the ball down, evade marker Don Cowie and drill a low finish beyond Alexander.
The first real test for Craig Gordon in the visitors’ goal came from Jamie Walker’s first-time shot following Arnaud Djoum’s low cutback in the 20th minute. The keeper was up to the task, and also parried Juanma’s rebound attempt from an offside position.
The game remained fairly even towards the interval, with tackles and individual battles raging on all over the field. Griffiths should have scored a second when through on goal five minutes before the break. Djoum’s shot at the Celtic goal was charged down by Nir Bitton and the ricochet took the ball spinning into the Hearts half. With an exquisite first touch, Griffiths nudged it clear of any defenders to home in on Alexander but the goalkeeper emerged to deflected his shot behind for a corner.
Paterson and Dauda were introduced at half-time by the Hearts head coach Robbie Neilson. That involved a change of formation from 3-5-2 to 4-4-2. Within minutes, Djoum drove forward from midfield and dispatched a shot which Gordon pushed behind at full stretch. Further efforts from John Souttar and Dauda hinted at the hosts seizing a better grip of the game.
Just before the hour mark, Dauda produced a stunning equaliser. Walker robbed Brown in midfield and fed the striker, who set off on a solo run from around 40 yards out. He held off several challenges to stay on his feet and evade opponents. When he reached the edge of the box, he rifled a low right-footed shot low into Gordon’s net.
The game erupted in controversy on 63 minutes. Kazim-Richards challenged Oshaniwa, who was grounded and appeared to take a stud in the head from his opponent. Referee Alan Muir chose to book the Celtic forward. Minutes later the visitors were gifted a second goal as Hearts’ defending cost them dear.
Ozturk’s high clearance was headed back to Souttar by Perry Kitchen, but Roberts nipped in ahead of the young centre-back. The winger was through on goal and stroked a composed finish through Alexander to restore his team’s advantage.
Falling behind again killed Hearts’ momentum. They continued to try to play football from defence but were constantly closed down by the Celtic forwards. Griffiths charged a Souttar clearance with five minutes remaining to earn himself a goal and seal his team’s triumph. He collected the loose ball on the right and cut inside for a precise low shot into the net.

Leigh Griffiths scored the goal that killed off Hearts at Tynecastle and took Celtic to within a millimetre of a fifth successive league title.
In a frenetic game, Colin Kazim-Richards opened the scoring for Celtic, who had an earlier goal wrongly ruled out for offside.
Abiola Dauda levelled early in the second half.
But slapstick defending allowed Patrick Roberts and Griffiths to net and Celtic ended the day nine points clear.
All but champions
Celtic manager Ronny Deila
Celtic manager Ronny Deila will leave the club at the end of the season
Aberdeen beat Motherwell to temporarily suspend Celtic's official confirmation as Premiership champions.
Celtic, who host the Dons next week, hold a nine-point advantage with three games to play and a goal difference that is vastly superior to the Dons'. The Parkhead party planners can get to work now.
Ronny Deila's side had travelled to Tynecastle on the back of some ropey form but they had their edge with them this time.
They should have been ahead on 11 minutes when a Roberts shot was beaten away by Neil Alexander only for the breaking ball to be put away by Callum McGregor.
The midfielder was deemed to be offside when he scored. He wasn't. Within two minutes, Celtic bombarded Alexander again, the goalkeeper first saving from Roberts from close range and then tipping over a drive from distance by Griffiths.
Hearts had opted to start with Callum Paterson on the bench – and they missed him. They were also without Igor Rossi – they missed him, too. Juwon Oshaniwa is adept at hurling himself on to the floor and claiming assault to anybody who'll listen, but he's not so hot at the fundamental art of defending. John Souttar had a calamitous day. Hearts were awful at times at the back.
It was when Souttar, playing nervously at right-back for the opening half, failed to deal with a routine cross that Celtic struck. The ball drifted over Souttar and into Kazim-Richards, who composed himself in the six-yard box before placing his shot low past Alexander.
Only fitfully in that opening half did Hearts raise a gallop, Jamie Walker missing a fine chance after great set-up play by Arnaud Djoum.
Celtic created another big moment just before the break. Griffiths galloped clear for a one-on-one with Alexander. It was the kind of chance that Griffiths has gobbled up all season. Not this time. Alexander won the battle.
Hearts head coach Robbie Neilson had to make changes – and he did. Paterson appeared as did Dauda and their impact was immediate.
Kieran Tierney and Abiola Dauda
Dauda (right) brought Hearts level
Djoum forced a great save from Craig Gordon as Hearts found themselves at last. Gordon saved again from Souttar. Just before the hour, though, Dauda ran hard at Celtic, brushing off all-comers before slamming his shot past Gordon.
Tynecastle came alive – and then it fell silent again. Roberts' goal was a gift from Alim Ozturk and Souttar, who were horrendously slack in defence and allowed the young Englishman through on Alexander. Roberts beat him comfortably.
Then, Souttar got suckered by Griffiths for the third, the striker ransacking the defender before slotting past Alexander.
