The game should have been put to bed in the first half, so many chances and so many wasted final balls, Rosenborg couldn't live with us and couldn't have complained if they had found themselves 3 down at half time. Bit of a fright at the start of the second and then we controlled it again and again shloud really have made more of the ball in the final third.Felt that the subs robbed us of our impetus and invited them onto us, also felt that Broony was brought on just because he was fit.At the end I didn't think I'd ever be pissed off that we didn't pump a team away from home in Europe :lol:All in all an excellent performance in a game that we dominated from start to finish, an away win, a clean sheet and the opposition didn't even have a shot on target :clap: :clap:
Special shout out to Tierney and Rogic who were immense!

Celtic’s quest to reach the knockout stages of the Europa League is in their own hands following a 1-0 win over Rosenborg in Trondheim.
The Hoops commanded the first half at the Lerkendal Stadium but did not take the lead until the 42nd minute when forward Scott Sinclair headed in a cross from winger James Forrest.
There was little excitement after the break with Brendan Rodgers’ side less convincing yet they managed the club’s first away victory in the group stages of the competition.
Celtic moved on to nine points and a draw in their final Group B fixture against Salzburg, who qualified with a 1-0 win over RB Leipzig, at Parkhead next month would be enough for the Scottish champions to secure European football after Christmas.
Before what is sure to be a big European night in Glasgow on December 13, Celtic play Aberdeen in the Betfred Cup final at Hampden Park on Sunday.
The Hoops are looking to clinch the first part of what they hope will be a domestic treble-treble and, on current form, it will take a mighty Dons effort to upset the odds.
For the penultimate Europa League encounter, fit-again midfielder Tom Rogic replaced Olivier Ntcham, who dropped to the bench along with returning skipper Scott Brown.
With the Norwegian Cup final against Stromsgodset on Sunday to look forward to and his side effectively out of the Europa League after four defeats, Rosenborg boss Rini Coolen was aiming to be “smart” with regards the use of his squad.
But he started with arguably his strongest side, including former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner.
Many home fans had stayed at home with the 21,000-plus capacity stadium far from full as Sinclair asked the first question in the third minute with a right-footed drive from the edge of the box which Rosenborg keeper Andre Hansen saved comfortably.
The composed and confident visitors, in their luminous lime green kit, slowly built momentum and in the eighth minute Rogic, fitting seamlessly back into the side, fired a left-footed drive over the bar.
Ryan Christie’s deflected shot from 20 yards in the 17th minute earned Celtic their first corner from which the Hoops kept up the pressure with Rogic’s shot blocked by defender Tore Reginiussen.
The Parkhead side kept knocking on the door.

Hansen saved two efforts from Australia international Rogic and an angled drive from Forrest before French striker Odsonne Edouard fired just wide.
In the midst of Celtic’s control, however, Rosenborg wideman Yann-Erik De Lanlay forced himself past Sinclair and Kieran Tierney but his delivery across Craig Gordon’s six-yard box found no takers.
But Celtic got the goal their dominance deserved three minutes from the break when Forrest picked Sinclair out with a delightful cross to the back post, leaving the Englishman to head in from three yards out.
The home side looked more lively at the start of the second half, with Celtic centre-back Filip Benkovic cutting out a dangerous Birger Meling cross, a reminder that there was still work to be done.
Celtic continued to find their way to the edge of the Rosenborg penalty area but all too often the final pass was delayed or wayward.
In the 66th minute Leigh Griffiths, who had scored on his return as a substitute at Hamilton on Saturday after a six-week absence through injury and illness, replaced Edouard with right-back Cristian Gamboa taking over from Mikael Lustig.
Coolen’s side began taking risks in their bid to draw level and in the 75th minute attacker Samuel Adegbenro headed a cross from Vegar Hedenstad just a foot over the bar to jangle Celtic nerves.
Brown replaced Forrest for the fraught final stages and what at one stage looked like a comfortable night for the Glasgow side became a grind until the final whistle, with the Hoops left with a showdown against Salzburg, who have maximum points from five matches.

Celtic moved to within a point of reaching the Europa League knock-out stages with an efficient victory over Rosenborg in Trondheim.
Scott Sinclair headed home the only goal from a sumptuous James Forrest cross three minutes before half-time.
With RB Salzburg beating RB Leipzig to qualify as group winners, Celtic have their destiny in their own hands.
They need a point against the Austrians in their final group game on 13 December to guarantee qualification.
Leipzig – who finish at home to Rosenborg – remain in contention for second spot, but Celtic will fancy their chances of progress after their first Europa League away win – at the 17th attempt – since the competition was rebranded in 2009-10.
Their sixth victory from seven matches – the other a draw – since losing 2-0 to Leipzig on 25 October, gave their swelling confidence a further boost leading into Sunday's League Cup final against Aberdeen at Hampden.

Rogic return sparks Celtic
Tom Rogic, returning to the Celtic side in place of the benched Olivier Ntcham, looked keen to pick up where he left off before the international break.
The Australian midfielder tired late on but was a prominent figure in a first half-hour which saw the visitors dominate possession but initially fail to make their ascendancy count.
Rogic thumped an effort over before picking up a loose pass, driving into the box and threading a pass through for Odsonne Edouard, but the French striker was slow to react as the hosts cleared the danger.
The half-chances continued to flow. Ryan Christie's snap-shot was deflected wide; Rogic had another shot blocked; Forrest couldn't quite get control of a pin-point cross from Christie.
Rogic then brought an excellent save from Anders Hansen as the Rosenborg keeper got down well to save his low shot.
When the breakthrough arrived, it came in style. The in-form Forrest turned Tore Reginiussen on the right flank and stood up a lovely cross to the far post, where Sinclair headed home emphatically.

Rosenborg, in front of a sparse crowd inside the Lerkendal Stadium, threatened only sporadically as they slumped to a fifth group defeat out of five.
Yann-Erik de Lanlay dispossessed Sinclair on the right and steered a powerful cross across the face of the box that eluded Nicklas Bendtner, the former Arsenal striker playing despite having a 50-day jail term hanging over his head after dropping his appeal against the assault of a taxi driver.
Celtic were also grateful for the intervention of Filip Benkovic in the early moments of the second half, the Croat centre-back reacting quickest to a dangerous cross from Birger Meling.
But while the hosts made it more of an even contest after the interval, the visitors saw out the game in reasonable comfort.
They might have had more goals – Edouard's close-range effort diverted wide before he made way for Leigh Griffiths, who let fly with a dipping shot in stoppage time.
But one ultimately proved enough, setting up an enticing group finale at Celtic Park in a fortnight.

Celtic arrived with the kind of poise and purpose that has been lacking in many an away European fixture.
Their movement, awareness and quality of passing were all at a high standard and the tempo was impressive. They dominated the ball and when they lost it were quick to regain possession and attack.
The only criticism you could muster in the first half was the number of chances that passed by before Forrest's exquisite chip gave Sinclair the easiest of finishes.
In truth, Celtic should have been out of sight with the outcome done and dusted long before the closing stages which became ever so slightly nervy.
However, the win was fully deserved and vital for their hopes to qualify. They now have a fabulous opportunity to go further. It is now very much in their hands.
