Injury blows for Celtic

CELTIC continued their winning ways in Holland last night, but at some cost, as captain Paul McStay and Danish internationalist Morten Weighorst limped off after both sustained ankle injuries. For McStay, the blow was particularly bitter since he was enjoying his first match action after having missed out on Euro96. However, Celtic manager Tommy Burns stressed that the injured ankle, which was the same one which needed surgery during the close season, should not stop the midfielder from playing for the remainder of the tour.
