Review

A good crowd turned up to see the Scottish League Champions play the Scottish Cup holders, but it was a very poor game with both teams under strength and deservedly criticised in the Press for “mediocrity”.

The only thing vaguely approaching a highlight was a contretemps between Dundee right winger Bellamy and Celtic’s linesman Willie Maley.
