Kevin from the channel island Guernsey, first came to Celtic’s attention after his grandfather (a lifelong fan) sent the club a number of local press cuttings highlighting his talent.

After due diligence, Celtic invited Kevin up for a trial in the summer of 1994. He impressed enough to be offered S forms allowing him to sign for the club while continuing to live at home in Guernsey. When he turned 16 he was invited back to train with the youth team and again after impressing he was offered a 2 year Professional contract by then manager Tommy Burns.

Kevin was brought up in a Celtic supporting family and his style of play was modelled on his hero growing up Paul McStay.

One of the highlights of Kevin’s time at Celtic was captaining the Under 16 team vs their Scotland counterparts.

Unfortunately, Kevin’s time at Celtic was hampered by a number of serious knee injuries and he left the club by mutual consent after his contract had ran out.

Kevin was offered further trials at a number of clubs including West Ham and Nottingham Forest but he chose to return to Guernsey where he is now working in finance.
