New signing as a youth in 02/03; Republic of Ireland international schoolboy signed from Home Farm, Dublin and originally from Killarney; strong, tall and a nose for goal. He had trialled with Wolves, Manchester City and Leicester but chose to join Celtic. FAI U17. He began to knock in goals for the U18's and looked good towards the latter part of the season 03/04.

He started 05/06 well and signed a new contract to July 2008. He has also played centre half. He moved up to the Reserves in 06/07 and in January went on loan to Ross County for the remainder of the season where he made 15 appearances scoring 2 goals.

In 07/08 he had an abortive period out on loan to KV Oostende to fulfil the club's partnership arrangements with the Belgian side and played the season through with the Reserves.

On 1st July 2008 it was announced that he had left the club and joined Morecambe. He said, "As a young Irish footballer it was my ambition to play for Celtic and I love the place. But I have to think of my career now and look to make my mark."

He was released from Morecambe in May 2009 and became a free agent.

Trialled with Ayr United in summer 2009 who wanted to sign him but could not afford both him and ex-Celt Kevin Cawley. Then flew out for a trial period with Willie McStay's Ujpesti FC in late August but got no joy there either. Made a second half guest appearance for impecunious Cork City in the friendly v. Celtic on 9 September 2009.

Finally snaffled a contract for 09/10 from the 'Airdrie United' franchise after knocking in a couple of goals in another trial match, v. Falkirk on 15 September. Released May 2010 and spent July on trial with Raith Rovers but no contract offer.

Went to Iceland and signs for Valur 30.7.10.

Signed a pre-contract agreement in November 2010 to play for Glenavon from January 1, 2011.
