Biog

Signed on an 'S' form by Billy McNeill when a pupil at St Andrew's High School, Kirkcaldy. Had been part of that school's Scottish Cup winning team in 1982. Played amateur for Leven Royals before joining the groundstaff at Celtic Park. Represented Scotland at Under-16 level. Won the BP Youth Cup in 1984 and reached the final the following year, also spending time farmed out at Glenrothes Juniors. Left for Dundee in July 1985 without having played a first team game. Completed SFA coaching badges and went on to coach East Fife with Steve Archibald, Jimmy Bone and Stevie Kirk. Also youth team coach at East Fife.

Now working as a Social Worker in Fife. (Please note this is not the Dominic Schiavone involved in the infamous 2003 incident involving Liverpool player El-Hadj Diouf, and has no connection to him).
