The story of a season and a half.
It wasn’t just reaching the final of this tournament that mattered. It was the whole journey. Each time we progressed we were predicted to fail, yet at each hurdle we dug deep into ourselves, both on the pitch and on the terraces, to push our side forward.
We made so many friends on the way to the final and the memories will last forever, and the sporting reputation of the club was restored in the eyes of the international footballing community after a long time in the wilderness.
The experience was simply a joy and an honour for all fortunate to have been a part of it.
