Official Departure Statement form Celtic:

Stevie Frail leaves Celtic

CELTIC Football Club has announced that Development Coach Stevie Frail has left the club. Professional Academy Manager Tommy McIntyre will be in charge of the Development Side in the meantime, until a more permanent appointment is announced. Speaking to the official website, Stevie said: “I have had a great time at Celtic over the past few years and enjoyed working for a great club with some really good players, but I felt the time was right to move on and look at some new challenges in football. “As well as working with top players, I’ve been lucky enough to work with top coaches and managers and have learned so much in my spell at the club. “I leave a lot of friends both on and off the pitch and would like to thank all the people I have worked with from the guys and girls in the offices to catering staff, kit men and women and everyone else at the Club. “I wish the manager, his staff and all the players every success for the season, and hopefully I will be watching some of the young lads I have worked with playing regularly in the first team.” Celtic’s Head of Youth, Chris McCart added: “Stevie has done a great job for the club in recent seasons. He has been part of so many of our successes and brought through a lot of talented young players. “Of course we are sad to see him leave but we wish Stevie very well in all his future ventures and we are sure he will again be very successful in these.”
