Review

Aberdeen are the best team to come to Parkhead this season so far. In the first half they dominated and Purdie hit the bar and Hunter made several good saves.

Celtic took the lead on half time when Wilson was sent clear on goal from a Dalglish pass.

In 75 minutes Aberdeen had a penalty after Brogan fouled Graham in the box. Purdie's penalty struck the post and Hunter saved bravely from Williamson's rebound.

29,000 turned out which was an excellent crowd given that there was a bus strike in the Glasgow area.
