Review

The normally mild mannered Paul Wilson is sent of for dissent but Celtic's 10 men pull through. He threw the ball in Thomson's face after being fouled and was sent off after 12 minutes.

Dalglish scores after he takes advantage of a slip by Willie Miller and Deans scores the second right on half time.

Aberdeen fought back but Celts held out. In the second half Deans was withdrawn for Lennox and the wee man ran his heart out up front until full time.
