When Dalglish plays to the full then Celtic are on form and he scores two excellent goals to give Celts victory.

In the first half Celtic made chances but Cruickshank was in inspired form and made four tremendous saves.

After the break Celtic brought McCluskey back to sweeper and pushed young Casey into midfield and Celtic had more drive.

Dalglish opened the scoring in 59 minutes with a cute lob after Deans had knocked down a McCluskey free kick. Near the end Dalglish clinched it when he headed in a fine cross from Ritchie. Dalglish now described as 'Captain Marvel.'

Youngsters Ritchie and Casey played well on the day with Ritchie impressing with his powerful shooting.
