Review

Celtic blitzed Hibs with a first half treble on a windy day.
Dixie opened the scoring with his usual goal against Hibs this time from the penalty spot after Lennox had been brought down in the area. He then set up Lennox for the second goal. Wilson adeed the third following up on a Dixie shot that rebounded from a post.
The best goal was kept until the second half when Dalglish played a one-two with Deans, looked up and curled a glorious shot past Hibs' keeper McDonald.

At the end of the month Celtic had stolen a lead having played a game more.
